We have opened our store front. Soon we will have our inventory online as well.
Our store has consignment items that are available for sale. Please come by for these items.
The yarns we carry are eco-friendly. You will find yarns made from bamboo, wools, alpaca, sugar cane, corn, recycled jeans, whey, soy, and oh so much more.
Join us at our Asylum. This is a time to get your Yarn Therapy with others in the Asylum Pit here at the store.
Asylum is every Monday and Wednesday night from 6-8 PM and Tuesday mornings from 10-noon.
We have also introduced Charity Asylum. Shannon and I have found that we need several community projects to keep our connection to the community. There are several that are important to us.
We are an official site for Project Linus. This project distributes new, handmade blankets to the children in need within our community. The hospitals require clean, smoke free, chemical free blankets that are knitted, crocheted, quilted, or fleece.
Also, to be worked on are premie hats. We are currently looking for a charity that we like. However, in the meantime we will deliver them to Methodist Children's Hospital for the NICU.
The third project we are continuing are the Squares for Veterans. We are collecting 6"X6" knitted and crocheted squares that will be assembled into afghans for the veterans. So, as you find that you are down to small bits of yarn and can make a square, just bring them by.
The Charity Asylum is also a good time to work on your own charity projects. If you are working on chemo caps or prayer shawls or whatever, bring them by and enjoy the company of others.
The Charity Asylum will be held every Thursday from 3-5 PM.
We hope to see all of you at all of our Asylums!
